Dear Mr. Zitoli:

I disagree with the wording of your letter stating that you tried to settle this case and avoid trial. You are the one who decided that we did not reach a basis for settlement. You haven’t put any effort into trying to reach a settlement. You and your office have been totally unfair to me your average working American trying to understand the taxes you say I owe. You also state that since my case is scheduled for trial on November 17th 2008 at Tampa, Florida, that you are done and you want to just pass me on to Area Counsel and prepare for trial. I disagree totally. I did my best to show you my business expenses and deductions and you have decided that it wasn’t good enough and want to just pass me on to Tax court to deal with it.

I am greatly disappointed in you Mr. Zitoli and your half-hearted attempt to try and settle this matter and avoid trial.
