RE: Henry Patriot SS: 123-45-6789 1999- 2002, 2004
You sent me your letter dated June 6, (attached). I want to settle this case and obey all laws. Your letter furnished me the information that I greatly needed.
My records were destroyed in a house fire and I don’t know what happened those years, tax wise. I am 88 years old, very feeble, forgetful and disabled. I just buried my beloved second wife.
I hired a CPA and filed back tax returns for many years.
I did not make enough earnings to file tax returns those years. I do not have enough money to pay expensive tax professionals to prepare tax returns for me. However, by denying myself and my grandchildren the necessities of life, I did hire a CPA to fill out the back tax returns.
We would have filled them out a long time ago if I had known what 1099’s the IRS had against me. I requested information from your agency several times with no helpful responses.
For the years in question, I received negligible amounts in interest which you claim is taxable and SS which is known not to be taxable. You list savings bonds which I understand are not taxable.
You list a savings bond of $2808 + for year 2001; $1833 + for tax year 2002; $9,084 + for tax year 2004. These figures are not correct. Further these figures differ greatly from the other computations by the IRS in the 30 day and other letters.
For these tax years I request a tax court hearing and/or CDPH.
Yours,
Henry Patriot
