Title: 3. Postponement
Dr. Clarkson Comments
Patriot Mike had a CDPH in person conference (rare) but was unable to have a witness there. The Appeals division granted his request for postponement. Mike writes:
I called the IRS Appeals agent and had the meeting postponed two weeks, to November 18, 2007 at 9:00 am. He wasn’t too happy about it and demanded that I send him a financial statement within one week or the whole deal is off. Is there a way around this or do I need to fill one out and send it in?
Dr. Clarkson Responds: We do not recommend filling out the financial statement unless you absolutely have to. Let's settle the preliminary issues first and then we'll talk about the OIC form and the 433-form later.
