RE: Henry Patriot Vs CIR Docket # 1106xxx and 208xxx
Dear Judge Wells,
As I had testified on the stand on January 9th, due to my age, my memory is not so good and I do not think clearly under pressure.
District Counsel, J. Craig Young asserts the position that I am not married just because I did not have a copy of my marriage certificate or know my wife’s social security number. I was so angered by his doubt of my word while I was under oath, I did not think to mention that I am able to provide this information. I just was not prepared to do so on Jan 9th in the courtroom without advance notice. I presumed my testimony was to be enough.
As I have stated in my letters to him and under oath, I had a house fire a few years ago and I lost many important records and documents. The marriage certificate was among this loss. I have contacted the minister that married us in the state of Georgia and he is providing me with a duplicate copy of that certificate. I will mail a copy to all parties as soon as I receive it.
As for my wife’s social security number, I had to contact her son (please remember or be advised this is my second marriage as my first wife passed away). Her son handles all her banking. The only money she has, to my knowledge, is from her social security check. Her name was never changed on the social security records and she still retains the last name of her former husband. You will be able to see we are legally married when I produce a copy of our marriage certificate. I was also mistaken about the spelling of her middle name.
Her name as it appears on SS records is Lee K Patriot and her SS# is 123-45-6789.
I appreciate the patience this court has had with my limitations and infirmities and I hope this information will now be enough to satisfy District Counsel.
Yours,
Henry Patriot
