This is the Amicus Curiae (friend of the court) brief that Attorney Jeffrey Dickstein submitted to the 5th Federal Circuit Court in the appeal of convicted tax patriot extraordinare, Dick Simkanin. Jeff was not the trial attorney, nor was he the attorney retained to brief the Simkanin case on appeal. Jeff just researched, wrote and submitted this Amicus Curiae brief on his own volition. Jeff still doesn't know if the brief will be accepted by the 5th Circuit as part of the appeal (see the Motion for Leave). He submitted the Amicus brief because he saw a gross injustice that he felt needed to be rectified, before others suffered the same fate. In my opinion, Jeff too is a patriot extraordinaire.
The Amicus brief opens with a run-down of Dick's first trial (pp. 1-4) which ended in a hung jury. The defense was able to enter exhibits and present evidence as to Simkanin's good faith belief that he followed the law. But in his second trial, the judge and the prosecution were determined to see Dick Simkanin criminally convicted (pp. 5-7) by circumventing and castrating over 50 years of established law.
When I read the brief, especially the listing of events of the two trials, I was literally brought to tears with rage of what them SOBs did to him!!!!!! It is my belief that every one of those bastards who condoned and participated in those actions depriving Dick Simkanin of his right to a fair trail, deserve nothing less than a public flogging, before they are given a public hanging!!!!!
Although there are hundreds more who have assisted Dick Simkanin in various ways, the example set by Dick, and now by Jeff Dickstein, should be an inspiration for us all to increase our efforts to expose this income tax fraud and to destroy the IRS permanently!!
You too might feel inspired to follow in Jeff's footsteps and do just a little more because you also have seen a gross injustice that needs to be rectified.
