Thank you for August 14,2008 letter. I will advise Mr. Haber that you are unable to make the proposed August 20, 2008 date. Please call me with alternative dates that are available on your calender.

I would like to set a date soon so we can try and bring this matter to a conclusion.

As I stated in my prior letter, you are permitted to tape record your meeting with Mr. Haber regarding complying with the summons, and the IRS will likely record the session with its own recording with its own recording equipment.
